Câmara Municipal de Manaus delibera Projeto de Rodrigo Sá que cria aplicativo ‘SOS Mulher’

A Câmara Municipal de Manaus (CMM) deliberou, nesta segunda-feira (17 de março), durante a 11ª Sessão Ordinária, um Projeto de Lei que propõe a criação do aplicativo ‘SOS Mulher’, uma ferramenta digital voltada para mulheres que se sintam ameaçadas. A iniciativa, de autoria do vereador Rodrigo Sá (Progressistas), foi encaminhada à 2ª Comissão de Constituição, Justiça e Redação para análise.

O aplicativo funcionará como um botão de emergência, permitindo que, com um simples toque no celular, a vítima envie um alerta imediato para a Guarda Municipal, que acionará a viatura mais próxima para prestar assistência. O projeto já foi adotado em outras cidades do país, como Vitória (ES) e Taboão da Serra (SP), e tem se mostrado uma medida eficaz no combate à violência contra a mulher.

Segundo o parlamentar, que também é delegado de polícia, a proposta não gera custos para a Prefeitura de Manaus, pois poderá ser implementada por meio de parcerias com institutos e empresas da iniciativa privada.

“As mulheres enfrentam diariamente diferentes formas de violência, e esse projeto busca oferecer um recurso acessível e eficiente para garantir sua proteção. A tecnologia pode e deve ser utilizada como aliada na segurança pública, e o SOS Mulher vem justamente para suprir essa necessidade”, destacou o vereador Rodrigo Sá.

A presidente da 18ª Comissão de Defesa e Proteção dos Direitos da Mulher, vereadora Professora Jacqueline (União Brasil), também ressaltou a importância da proposta e sua integração com outras políticas públicas de enfrentamento à violência de gênero.

“Qualquer mecanismo que fortaleça a rede de proteção à mulher é essencial. Já temos diversas leis nesse sentido, mas o grande desafio é garantir sua eficácia. Esse aplicativo chega para tornar esse suporte mais ágil e eficiente”, afirmou a parlamentar.
